Canada welcomes cooperation with Russia to tackle global warming in the Arctic region, the Canadian defense minister said Friday. Speaking before bilateral talks with his Russian counterpart, Sergei Ivanov, Bill Graham expressed hope that the sides would have a successful discussion of bilateral cooperation, including in efforts to counter international terrorism and the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction.
