German Gref said Tuesday that global carmakers were investing at least $2 billion in the Russian economy
Russian Minister of Trade and Economic Development German Gref said Tuesday that global carmakers were investing at least $2 billion in the Russian economy. The minister said agreements had either been signed or were being finalized with four leading carmakers. He said negotiations were currently being conducted with six other manufacturers and three spare parts producers. "For the first time, we can say that real investors have emerged [in Russia] who are ready on some or other terms to invest money in the automotive industry," Gref said.
