Russia plans to increase sale of civil and military aircraft to amount to 6.9 billion dollars from the present 2.8 billion in the next 10 years, according to the aviation industry development strategy for the period till 2015 to be considered by the cabinet at its meeting on Thursday. The civil aviation sector is planned to account for three billion dollars of the sum. The military aircraft sale volumes must reach 3.9 billion. Up to 20 billion dollars must be invested in the industry in the next ten years to achieve the rate, Prime-Tass said. Twelve billion will be allocated from budgets, with purchases of military aircraft for the armed force not taken into account. It will also stimulate investment of non-budget finances, the strategy authors believe.
