Samuel "Nigerian Nightmare" Peter has promised to beat both Klitschko brothers
Undefeated heavyweight contender Samuel "Nigerian Nightmare" Peter (23-0, 21 KOs) has promised to beat both Klitschko brothers. In an interview in the run-up to Saturday's IBF title bout with former WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko (43-3, 40 KOs), Peter vowed to win convincingly in Atlantic City. In response to comments made by Klitschko that he would win by a knockout, Peter said: "He is saying that because he is scared. I'm going to win this fight. I know I can knock him out." Peter, who at 6'1" is five inches shorter than Klitschko but is two pounds heavier at 243, said he was not concerned with the Ukrainian's height or reach. "I beat taller fighters than me so his height does not mean anything. It doesn't matter. He cannot stop me." Peter added that after the bout with Wladimir he would be set for one with his brother Vitali, who is WBC/IBO World Champion. "It's only natural. After I take care of his brother Wladimir, then I will take care of him [Vitali]."
