Russian President Vladimir Putin answered 62 questions in his live televised session of questions and answers with Russian citizens on Tuesday
The session lasted for 2 hours 55 minutes. According to recent data, about one million telephone calls and 75,000 SMS messages were received by the centre for processing of the public’s questions during the live television and radio broadcast and in previous days as a whole. Many questions to the president were asked through the Internet. On Tuesday the president answered questions of citizens that gathered not only of main streets of the country’s cities and villages, but also on the roof of the Russian Cultural Centre in Riga and at the military base of long-range aviation in Engels. It is noteworthy that questions to the Russian president were coming not only from Russian citizens, but also from Latvian “non-citizens” – Russian compatriots.
