A woman resident of Vladikavkaz (North Ossetia) has voluntarily surrendered to police over 160 kilogrammes of explosive, police sources told Itar-Tass on Friday. According to her, the explosive - ammonite belonged to her husband who died in 1993. The source of the acquisition of the ammonium-nitrate explosive is currently being verified. Ammonite is used in demolition work and for filling various munitions - mines, bombs and projectiles.
