Wild birds have been shot and anti-infection cordons have been created near poultry farms in the Moscow region, the administration of the Moscow region told Tass on Thursday. The access to poultry farms, including the admission of vehicles there, has been restricted. All the personnel of the poultry farms undergo every-day medical examination before they begin work. The personnel who have direct contact with the poultry have been banned from contact with the poultry at their home farms. "Instead, either their relatives or acquaintances should be asked to take care of the domestic poultry of employees of poultry farms," the authorities of the Moscow government explained. "Nonetheless, no ban on deliveries of poultry to Moscow has been imposed yet, and one cannot say the bird flu has reached the Moscow region," a source from the Moscow food resources department told Tass,
