There have been no cases of human contraction of bird flu registered in Russia yet, the Emergency Situations Ministry said Tuesday. In October, the lethal H5N1 strain of bird flu killed poultry in the Tula, Tambov and Chelyabinsk regions and the Altai Territory. "In all, 394 fowl have died," the ministry said. "A total of 2,684 birds have been culled." No poultry deaths have been reported in the last 24 hours, the ministry said.
