Mikhail Zurabov reported to President Vladimir Putin Monday on the set of measures to help victims of the attack on the North Caucasus city of Nalchik
Russian Health and Social Development Minister Mikhail Zurabov reported to President Vladimir Putin Monday on the set of measures to help victims of the attack on the North Caucasus city of Nalchik. Zurabov said the government had approved a draft of the relevant document last week. He also said the measures included material aid and medical treatment. "Five people were flown to Moscow for [medical treatment]," he said. Putin said he had visited Nalchik Sunday and discussed the developments in Kabardino-Balkaria with the republic's leadership. He asked Finance Minister Alexei Kudrin to help "an enterprise in Kabardino-Balkaria that is related to Gokhran [Russia's state depository for precious metals and gemstones]." Putin ordered Prime Minister Mikhail Fradkov to meet with Kabardino-Balkaria's leadership this week. "They need help," he said.
