Vladimir Putin deems it necessary to increase citizens' trust in the court system
State testing of the frigate 'Tabar,' built for the Indian navy, has been completed, the press office of Russia's Baltic Fleet has announced. The 'Tabar' is the third frigate built for India by Baltic Shipbuilding (Saint Petersburg) in the past two years. It is equipped with the most up-to-date military technology and weapons. The comprehensive testing was done under the auspices of Russia's Baltic Fleet and carried out by a Russian-Indian crew. The official hand-over of the frigate to India, with the raising of the Indian flag on its mast, is set for April 19 at the harbor of Baltiisk. India's ambassador to Russia, Krishnan Raghunath, is expected to attend, along with Vice Admiral Madan Dzhit Singh, commander of India's Western Fleet, and representatives of the defense ministries of both countries.
