Two Russian Navy conscripts went missing after an excursion in Jakarta Wednesday
"Two enlisted men, Sergei Fesik and Alexander Goryunov, were reported missing from the Admiral Panteleyev antisubmarine ship, currently on a visit to the port of Jakarta in Indonesia as part of a Pacific Fleet task force, after an excursion to the city," Assistant Navy Commander-in-Chief Igor Dygalo said. He said the Russian Embassy in Jakarta and city police had been notified. The group of Russian Pacific Fleet warships was on its way back to Vladivostok from India where they had taken part in the Indra-2005 Russian-Indian naval exercise in the Bay of Bengal.
