Russia's Central Bank announced Thursday that the country's narrow money totaled 1,995.1 billion rubles ($69.8 billion) as of October 31, down 25.3 billion rubles ($885 million) in the week since October 24. According to the bank, the monetary base consists of the currency issued by the bank, including cash in vaults of credit institutions, and required reserves balances on ruble deposits with the Central Bank.
