Gasoline prices in Russia rose by 0.2% in the final week of October
Gasoline prices in Russia rose by 0.2% in the final week of October, the Federal Statistics Committee reported Wednesday. The prices went up 15.6% in the first 10 months of the year, rising 0.5% in September alone, the committee said. The price of diesel fuel rose 0.3% October 24-31. It went up 19.3% January through October, with an 0.8% rise in September. Further gasoline-price hikes were registered in October in twelve of Russia's 89 constituent members, the committee said. In the Oct. 24-31 period, crude oil distillation in Russia decreased 0.7%, down to 4.06 million metric tons. The production of gasoline and diesel fuel dropped 2.5% and 0.1%, to 602,000 and 1,189,000 tons, respectively
