A Mi-2 helicopter crashed in the Vologda region on Thursday
The helicopter was making a flyover of Ukhta-Tarshok gas pipeline, an adviser of the Russian emergency situations minister, Viktor Beltsov, told Itar-Tass. The helicopter was lost for radio contact at 13:15 Moscow time. An hour later, residents of the settlement of Baklan reported that the craft was found burning on the ground. Two rescue groups and two helicopters came to the accident site. There were five people on board. Four died and one was injured in the crash.
