Four largest Nalchik marketplaces are closed here on Thursday
Police are carrying out an operation searching for caches that contain arms and explosives and were planted by attackers on Nalchik, head of the department for the fight with organized crime of the Kabardino-Balkar Interior Ministry Anatoly Kyarov told Itar-Tass. “We are mopping up the city from bandits who outraged during an attack on Nalchik on October 13,” he emphasized. Kyarov also noted that 92 bandits who attacked Nalchik were killed, 52 extremists were arrested so far, more than 30 arms and ammunition caches were found. “We expose and will expose everybody who was involved in the terrorist act,” Kyarov pointed out. He noted that the situation in the republic is under control. “Police ensure security of people and stability,” he remarked.
