Sergei Lavrov and Abdelwahab Abdallah on Wednesday discussed bilateral relations as well as international and regional problems
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and his Tunisian counterpart Abdelwahab Abdallah on Wednesday discussed bilateral relations as well as international and regional problems. The talks that began in a narrow format continued with participation of Russian and Tunisian delegations. The sides signed an agreement on cooperation between the Diplomatic Academy of the Russian Foreign Ministry and the Diplomatic Institute of Research and Personnel Training of the Tunisian Foreign Ministry. Lavrov will meet Tunisian President Zine al-Abidine Den Ali on Thursday. The Russian foreign minister is scheduled to give a news conference after the talks. Tunisia is the final destination of Sergei Lavrov’s North African tour that had also taken him to Morocco and Algeria.
