The Narofiminsk city court has passed a suspended verdict of four years in prison to Tamara Rokhlina convicted for the murder of her husband General Lev Rokhlin
This is a second verdict convicting Rokhlina. On November 18, 2000 the Narofominsk city court sentenced Rokhlina to eight years in prison. Later, the Moscow regional court shortened the prison sentence to four years, but the Supreme Court repealed the verdict and ordered an additional investigation. Former Duma deputy General Lev Rokhlin was shot dead in his countryside house in the settlement of Klokovo of the Narofominsk district in the Moscow region on July 3, 1998.
