An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.1 points jolted the north of Buryatia republic on Tuesday afternoon. The main department of the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry for Buryatia told Itar-Tass on Tuesday the epicentre of the quake was located 45 kilometres southwest of the Severomuisk settlement. There have been no casualties or destruction. Life support facilities of the Muisk district of Buryatia, the Baikal-Amur Railway and the 14-kilometre-long Severomuisk Tunnel are operating in the nominal mode.
