Trade between Russia and Japan increased by 41% in 2003, according to the chairman of the Russian-Japanese Committee for Economic Cooperation, Arkadii Volskii. Volskii said Thursday that 'Trade in 2003 between our countries totaled USD 6 billion. Undoubtedly, a great deal of credit for this belongs to the Russian and Japanese governments.
