Three people are missing feared dead after a helicopter crashed in the Russian Far East on Tuesday
The aircraft, which crashed in the Khabarovsk Territory, has been found, the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry said. "The helicopter was found lying on its side in the estuary of the Amur River. We have no information about the crew," a ministry spokesman said. The Mi-8 helicopter, on a medical evacuation mission, crashed at 7:55 a.m. Moscow time (4:55 a.m. GMT) with at least three crew members on board, although the ministry official did not rule out that there could that there could have been more people. A rescue helicopter has been sent to the crash scene.
