Alexei Kudrin said Tuesday that the ministry was planning to include a higher base oil price in budgetary plans for the next three years
Russian Finance Minister Alexei Kudrin said Tuesday that the ministry was planning to include a higher base oil price in budgetary plans for the next three years. "The price for oil will have to be revised in preparations for the three-year plan," Kudrin said. The minister said that the current price in the plan was $40, but the trend for the next three years would be higher. According to Kudrin, the price per barrel should be $45, and $40 in 2007 and 2008, which would help make budget forecasting more precise. The minister will submit the new plan to the government on December 15. Kudrin also said gross domestic product growth had been estimated at 5.8% in 2006, 5.9% in 2007 and 6% in 2008
