Russia and Canada signed a protocol on the completion of bilateral talks regarding the conditions of the former's accession to the World Trade Organization Friday. The protocol was signed by Russian Economic Development and Trade Minister German Gref and the Canadian charge d'affaires in Moscow. Gref said Russia has always been and will remain Canada's most reliable partner. "The signing of the protocol is only the beginning of our future work," Gref said. Russia still has to complete WTO talks with the United States, Switzerland, Australia and Colombia.
