The Russian executive authorities will not move to St. Petersburg
The Russian executive authorities will not move to St. Petersburg, presidential representative in the North-Western Federal District Ilya Klebanov said. He pointed out that judicial authorities might go to Russia’s second largest city after all. It is quite reasonable to transfer the Constitutional Court to St. Petersburg, Klebanov said. The measure will require no additional spendings. “It will be the tiniest share of federal budget spending,” Klebanov said about likely transport expenses.
