The head of the Russian Federal Agency for Nuclear Power, Sergei Kiriyenko, will soon pay a visit to Ukraine, a source in the Russian government said Wednesday. The source added that acting Ukrainian Prime Minister Yuriy Yekhanurov would visit Moscow in the near future on a presidential invitation. Russian President Vladimir Putin said that during a meeting held with Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko in Kazakhstan on Wednesday, Russian-Ukrainian cooperation in the peaceful use of nuclear energy was discussed. "This cooperation has strong potential since Russia and Ukraine have huge capabilities in science and production," Putin said.
