A total of 24 million roubles for payment of pensions were robbed from a branch of the Troika Service Bank in Makhachkala, Tass learnt on Tuesday at the press service of the Dagestan Interior Ministry. Swindlers drove on Monday to the bank branch in a car with green stripes on the body, as is the case with cash collectors’ cars. Two armed men in camouflage identified themselves to bank clerks as officers of the Russian cash collection service. Police took fingerprints and forged documents from the bank branch. Four residents of Makhachkala, including a bank teller, were detained in the Akushinsky Avenue on a suspicion of the crime. The cash has not been found. Police instituted a criminal case under the article “swindling, committed by a group of people in collusion”.
