A delegation of the Russian Audit Chamber begins an official visit to Angola on Wednesday
A delegation of the Russian Audit Chamber led by its chairman Sergei Stepashin begins an official visit to Angola on Wednesday, the press service of the Russian audit agency reports. A memorandum of understanding between the Russian Audit Chamber and the Audit Court of Angola, the African state’s highest financial control body, will be signed during the visit, the Prime-Tass economic agency reports. Sergei Stepashin is expected to meet Angola’s top leaders. The Russian delegation will visit the Katoka diamond mining company in southern Angola and the nearby hydropower station, which is being built with the help of Russian company Alrosa. Alrosa also owns 32.8% of shares in the Katoka Company
