Inflation in April will be 0.6-0.7%, the first deputy chairman of the Central Bank said Thursday. "I hope April's inflation will stand at 0.6-0.7%," Alexei Ulyukayev said. Central Bank Chairman Sergei Ignatyev said Wednesday that inflation in March was 0.8%, and the figure for the first three months of the year was 5%. He said inflation in the first quarter was lower than in the same period of 2005 (5.3%), but was still high. The official inflation rate for 2005 was 10.9%.
