A group of inspectors of the International Atomic Energy Agency has arrived in Tehran to inspect Iran’s nuclear facilities
A group of inspectors of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has arrived in Tehran to inspect Iran’s nuclear facilities, the deputy head of the Iranian Nuclear Energy Organization, Mohammad Saidi, said on Friday. “IAEA experts will visit the uranium enrichment centers in Natanz, central Iran, and the uranium-processing center in nearby Isfahan,” he said. The IAEA coordinated the details of the inspections with the Iranian authorities in advance, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Hamid Reza Asefi said. Tehran said it has no intention to stop cooperation with the IAEA, as it is a member of the non-proliferation treaty. The Iranian authorities rule out any possibility of suspending nuclear activities.
