Russian Minister of Agriculture Alexei Gordeyev has asked help from the country’s president for support of Russia’ s producers of poultry meat
Russian Minister of Agriculture Alexei Gordeyev has asked help from the country’s president for support of Russia’ s producers of poultry meat. “Due to the known situation (bird flu) the consumption of poultry meat in the world has sharply dropped,” said the minister. According to him, “The United States has two times reduced poultry prices in April and large batches of its products have been supplied to the Russian markets.” “Our poultry farms are facing collapse and it is the most high technology sphere,” the minister warned. He asked the head of state to include this problem in the instructions adopted by the results of Friday’ s meeting of the Council for Priority National Projects.
