Russian President Vladimir Putin has said that Russia is interested in the creation of an independent Palestinian state
Russian President Vladimir Putin has said that Russia is interested in the creation of an independent Palestinian state. “Our country is interested in achieving a fair and comprehensive settlement in the Middle East,” Putin said as he received credentials from foreign ambassadors on Thursday. “We believe that it is necessary to resume the peace process on the basis of the road map plan and to move steadily towards the final destination – the creation of an independent Palestinian state that would peacefully coexist with Israel,” he said
