Travelers Karl Bushby and Dimitri Kieffer failed to file an appeal on Wednesday against the Chukot district court ruling to expel them from Russia
Travelers Karl Bushby and Dimitri Kieffer failed to file an appeal on Wednesday against the Chukot district court ruling to expel them from Russia. They were half an hour late, while the mail was received until 16:00 local time, court chairman Yuri Ivanov told Itar-Tass. The appeal will be brought on Thursday morning. When the appeal paper will be delivered to Anadyr is not known so far. The regular flight plane flew out on Wednesday, the next will be only on April 26. But perhaps, the mail will be sent on the first occasion, by an ordered or cargo plane. Participation of the travelers in the court hearings is not decided either. They have no documents allowing them to arrive in Anadyr. Their attorney Alexander Perelygin said on Wednesday that they had sent a telegramme addressed to the border guard command, asking for permission to leave the settlement of Lavrentia
