China and Russia "agreed to strengthen the dialogue henceforth on settling the Iranian nuclear problem"
China and Russia "agreed to strengthen the dialogue henceforth on settling the Iranian nuclear problem," Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Qin Gang told a news briefing on Thursday. The relevant accord was reached in the course of the visit to Moscow by Assistant Foreign Minister Cui Tiankai. China also "expressed support for Russia's position on the Iranian nuclear dossier," Qin Gang said. The spokesman underlined that "it is still possible to resolve the Iranian nuclear issue through dialogue." He called upon all the interested parties "to show a restrained and constructive approach, and build mutual confidence with a view of the soonest resumption of talks for resolving the existing problems peacefully."
