Boris Gryzlov does not rule out Vladimir Putin may become Russia’s president for a third time
Russian State Duma Speaker Boris Gryzlov does not rule out Vladimir Putin may become Russia’s president for a third time, after 2012. Gryzlov shared his opinion with mass media on the sidelines of the jubilee full-scale meeting of the lower house of the Russian parliament. Gryzlov explained that under the Constitution the same person is not allowed to take the highest post in the country for three terms in a row. The head of state himself has said more than once the fundmental law will stay unchanged in this respect. “In principle Vladimir Putin may become Russia’s president again, not in 2008, though,” Gryzlov said in reply to a direct question.
