The quality of education in Russia should answer the demands of today's job market
The quality of education in Russia should answer the demands of today's job market, President Vladimir Putin said Wednesday in his annual state of the nation address. "We need to ensure the competitiveness of our education, otherwise we will face a serious gap between the quality of education and the current demands [of the market]," Putin said. He called for adequate controls over the country's education system and for the introduction of independent ratings of higher educational institutions.
