Russia's Central Bank said Friday that the country's narrowly defined money supply was 2,336.7 bln rubles
Russia's Central Bank said Friday that the country's narrowly defined money supply (M1) was 2,336.7 bln rubles ($86.33 bln at the current exchange rate) as of May 15, up 21.5 bln rubles ($794.35 mln) since May 10. According to the Bank, M1 money supply consists of the currency issued by the bank, including cash in vaults of credit institutions, and required reserves balances on ruble deposits with the Central Bank.
