The Russian economics minister said Tuesday gas, electricity and rail freight tariffs will rise by 15%, 10% and 7.5% respectively in 2007. German Gref said 2007-2009 would witness "a more rapid growth of tariffs for the services of natural monopolies." It had been thought that rates for natural gas and electricity would increase by 8%.
