Russia's Central Bank said Friday that the country's narrowly defined money supply was 2.38 trillion rubles
Russia's Central Bank said Friday that the country's narrowly defined money supply (M1) was 2.38 trillion rubles ($87.91 bln) as of May 22, up 40.3 bln rubles ($1.49 bln) since May 15. According to the Bank, M1 money supply consists of the currency issued by the bank, including cash in vaults of credit institutions, and required reserves balances on ruble deposits with the Central Bank.
