Russia's industry and energy minister will join delegates from throughout the world when the 23rd World Gas Conference opens in the Netherlands Monday. The conference has been organized by the International Gas Union and will discuss the current state of the global natural gas industry and the prospects of using various strategies and innovation technologies for its development. More than 3,000 representatives of governments, including Russia's Viktor Khristenko, and major energy companies and research institutions will attend the five-day conference. The conference will focus on gas and energy markets, gas and sustainable development and liquefied natural gas.
