Forty-one victims of the July 9 Airbus-310 passenger plane crash in Irkutsk have been identified, a source at the Prosecutor-General’s Office public relations department told Itar-Tass on Tuesday. According to the latest information, “149 people have been interrogated and the bodies of 127 plane crash victims will undergo a forensic medical examination,” the source said. “Seventy-two survivors remain in hospitals.” “At present, 84 relatives were taken blood tests for genetic identification,” the source said. Soon after the tragedy, an investigation group comprising 40 specialists of the Irkutsk region prosecutor office and the Interior Ministry was set up to look into the causes of the crash. Russian Prosecutor-General Yuri Chaika personally controls the investigation
