Russia’s Strategic Rocket Forces launched a converted Dnepr carrier from a mini spaceport in the Orenburg region on Wednesday. The carrier is to put the U.S. pilot satellite Genesis-1 to orbit. The rocket blasted off at 6.53 Moscow time (1453 GMT) from a silo where usually an RS-20 Voevoda (Satan by Western classification) rocket is deployed.
