Building a 'normal' government in Russia over the next 10 years would cost between USD 2 and 3 trillion
Building a 'normal' government in Russia over the next 10 years would cost between USD 2 and 3 trillion, according to the head of the company Wimm-Bill-Dann, David Yakobashvili. He made the remarks Wednesday at an international conference entitled 'Government and Business: What Next?' 'And even that amount would not help, given that all of the country's natural resources would be sold off,' said Yakobashvili. He said that he agreed with the conclusions of Duma deputy Oleg Morozov reagrding the 'presumptive guilt of business.' As the deputy explained, 'business is guilty inasmuch as it is business.' According to Yakobashvili, as soon as large resources are concentrated in a few hands, the government becomes alarmed because the possibility emerges of exercising an influence over it. 'Big business will always be an eyesore,' he said.
