Russia registered a positive foreign trade balance of $74.6 billion in the first six months of 2006, a 25% increase, year-on-year, the state statistics agency said Monday. The Federal State Statistics Service said Russia's foreign trade volume during the first half of 2006 grew 29.5%, totaling $213.5 billion, year-on-year. The country exported goods worth $144 bln, and imported goods worth $69.5 bln.
