All 15 hostages taken by three inmates in a Moscow pre-trial detention center have been freed after special forces stormed the building
All 15 hostages taken by three inmates in a Moscow pre-trial detention center have been freed after special forces stormed the building, a spokesman for the Federal Penitentiary Service said Monday. "The hostages were released 15 minutes ago. There were fifteen of them," the spokesman said. "No one was killed or injured." A law enforcement officer earlier said three inmates who took hostages have been detained. Criminal proceedings have been launched, a deputy Moscow prosecutor said.
