Russia's Central Bank said Friday that the country's narrowly defined money supply was 2,690 billion rubles
Russia's Central Bank said Friday that the country's narrowly defined money supply (M1) was 2,690 billion rubles ($100.4 billion rubles at the current exchange rate) as of September 11, up 28.1 billion rubles ($1.1 billion) in the week since September 4. According to the Bank, M1 money supply consists of the currency issued by the bank, including cash in vaults of credit institutions, and required reserves balances on ruble deposits with the Central Bank.
