Credit institutions' balances on correspondent accounts with the Russian Central Bank totaled 413.1 billion rubles ($15.76 billion at the current exchange rates) at the beginning of the business day, down 1.5% (6.2 billion rubles/$236.55 million) from Monday, the CBR said Tuesday. Credit institutions' balances on deposit accounts with the Bank of Russia stood at 37 billion rubles ($1.4 billion), up 4.8% (1.7 billion rubles/$64.9 million) from Monday.
